INER Basic B.Sc. Nursing

Introduction

This is a four year degree course approved by the govt. of Maharashtra and is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi Maharashtra state board of nursing and paramedical education.

Purpose

The main purpose of the undergraduate degree in Nursing, is to provide an educational programme, through which graduates will be prepared to assume the responsibility in the primary, secondary and tertiary care of people, as professional nurses.

The Programme is geared to the health needs of the country, community individual and will serve as a basis for advanced study and specification in Nursing. It will assist nurses in their personal and professional development so that they make their maximum contribution to society as individuals, citizens and nurses.

It is expected that nursing graduates to be capable of teaching, supervising and of giving appropriate nursing and health care in different settings.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 17 and maximum 35 years in age on or before 31st July of respective year of admission.
  • Medically Fit.
  • NEET Appeared
  • 10+2 pass or its equivalent recognized by competent authority in science branch.
  • A candidate should have passed in the subjects of PCB and English individually and must have obtained a minium of 45% marks taken together in PCB.
  • Candidate belonged to backward class, the marks obtained in PC taken together is minimum 40% instead of 45%.
  • No parallel / simultaneous attendance in other course during Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
