Akanksha Social Welfare and Human Resource Development Association, Akola founded by Mr. Manohar Rambhau Mahore Agriculturist from Akola, Maharashtra, India in the year 2000.
The society started with the good intention of progress in the field of education by establishing special institutes in Vidarbha region among poor and backward classes, and to encourage sports, games, school education, women’s education etc.
Akanksha Social Welfare and Human Resource Development Association, Akola has started the General Nursing Midwifery programme in the year 2005, Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery in the year 2007 and Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme in the year 2021 approved by an Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, Maharashtra Nursing council Mumbai, affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik, Maharashtra State Board of Nursing and Paramedical Education, Mumbai and approved by Department of Medical Education and Drugs Department Mantralay, Mumbai. The society is in process to start Pb.B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing program. Akanksha Social Welfare and Human Resource Development Association, Akola is in process to run the own 100 bedded hospital named Akanksha Nursing Home, Akola and Dr. Kelkar Psychiatric Hospital as a parent hospital.
